Welcome to the Official Website of the Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre (NBISC). The NBISC is a non-profit company setup to provide a first class indoor sports centre for use by the community of Sydney's Northern Beaches. NBISC plays host to many indoor sports including basketball, netball, volleyball, gymnastics and futsal.

The Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre itself does not organise any sporting activities. However, several local sporting clubs hire the facility on a regular basis to run amateur and social competitions throughout the year, as well as training and skills sessions. You can obtain more information about joining one of these sporting clubs by visiting the websites of each club as listed below:

NBISC's casual hire rates for 2008 are based on a reducing rate as follows (the longer the booking, the cheaper the hourly rate becomes):

The discounted rates only apply to continuous bookings on any one day. Court hours comprise the number of courts booked multiplied by the number of hours booked. Long-term bookings can be negotiated with the NBISC board of directors. Bookings will not be accepted more than 6 months in advance without the approval of the NBISC board. A 10% deposit must be paid within 7 days of making a booking.

EXAMPLE 1 - A user hires 2 courts from 9am to 2pm (10 court hours). That user will pay 8 hours x $52.00 ($416.00) plus 2 hours x $46.00 ($92.00) giving a total of $508.00 for the booking.

EXAMPLE 2 - A user hires 4 courts from 9am to 5pm (32 court hours). That user will pay 8 hours x $52.00 ($416.00) plus 8 hours x $46.00 ($368.00) plus 8 hours x $40.00 ($320.00) plus 8 hours x $34.00 ($272.00) giving a total of $1376.00 for the booking.
